Project Statement

          Ambient es la ideación de una estructura estética dinámica que tiene por objeto transportarnos a un mundo parafísico de atmósferas y ambientes ilusorios y desconocidos.

          Mi intención es capturar en una pintura esas trayectorias ondulantes que transitan por lo invisible y conseguir una composición expansiva que nos introduzca en una atmósfera inmaterial y sensorial.

          Para visibilizar esta idea, uno de los retos es dotar a la línea de una ilusión de movimiento. Cada línea es trazada a mano alzada en un solo gesto con un tiralíneas específico cargado con pintura al óleo. De este modo, la línea no delimita nada, salvo a sí misma, y se erige como algo dinámico independiente del contorno del dibujo. La profundidad de la maraña impide atravesar la imagen, porque es la imagen misma. 

          Se establece así una pintura de valores atmosféricos, ausente de violencia y cargada de una actitud relajante que baña al espectador en una hipnótica experiencia sensorial.

Project Statement

          Ambient is the ideation of a dynamic aesthetic structure that aims to transport us to a paraphysical world of illusory and unknown atmospheres and environments.

          My intention is to capture in a painting those undulating trajectories that pass through the invisible and achieve an expansive composition that introduces us into an immaterial and sensory atmosphere.

          To visualize this idea, one of the challenges is to give the line an illusion of movement. Each line is drawn freehand in a single gesture with a specific line drawn with oil paint. In this way, the line does not delimit anything, except itself, and stands as something dynamic independent of the outline of the drawing. The depth of the tangle prevents crossing the image, because it is the image itself.

          A painting of atmospheric values ​​is thus established, absent from violence and charged with a relaxing attitude that bathes the viewer in a hypnotic sensory experience.
